Gorgeous space options at Bio Rex
The newly renovated Bio Rex at Lasipalatsi has a completely new foyer, in addition to the existing spaces. The foyers, cinema auditorium and several meeting spaces in the Lasipalatsi restaurant, which is on the same floor, create a functional package for a variety of events. We offer you unique function facilities in the centre of Helsinki. An event organised here is sure to be remembered.
The Bio Rex cinema auditorium for up to 550 people
The cinema, originally built in 1936, has been renovated into a modern theatre auditorium with respect for its historical value. The 550-seater auditorium has the technology to suit many different types of meetings, seminars and other events.

Foyers
Our spacious foyers offer many possibilities for your events. The foyer next to the cinema auditorium has a high ceiling and its large windows offer an amazing view of the centre of Helsinki towards the parliament building. The row of windows facing Mannerheimintie, on the other hand, puts you in the midst of the pulse of the city. Here you will be in the centre of everything and still in the peace and quiet of your own event.
The foyers are suitable for exquisite dinners, thrilling parties, interesting exhibitions and speeches. The location of the foyers next to the cinema auditorium offers rich, flexible options for event planning.
The foyers can also be connected, making them a possible venue for a dinner event with up to 240 seated guests. At an event with standing guests, such as a cocktail party, there is room for up to 550 guests. When used by itself, the foyer next to the cinema auditorium provides ample room for 130 sitting guests or for 350 standing guests. Foyer No 10, on the other hand, can accommodate 100 sitting guests and 150 standing ones.
